Our story began years ago with being faced with personal homelessness as well as having family and close friends go through this traumatic experience. We have gained a unique perspective to the issue of homelessness, what keeps people trapped in this seemingly endless cycle, as well as the methods to use to set them on the road to recovery.
Our vision for the homeless can be summed up within the following quote: "Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime." The issues that cause homelessness are complex and so are the solutions. The problem is not for them to "just get a job", but to help them find their way out of their personal prison.
Our philosophy is to take a holistic approach to lead someone out of the bonds of homelessness. The key to making this work is to evaluate each client's situation, then leverage the community of public and private resources at hand to restore them to a productive and happy life.
